Piano Duets for Christmas

Piano Duets for Christmas by David J. HahnMerry Christmas everyone! This album was inspired by the old Christmas records (vinyl baby!) that I used to listen to as a kid. These are the songs that always help put me in the Christmas mood.

I recorded these songs as two-piano duets. There’s something both lush and wintry about the piano, and I wanted to make these recordings as beautiful as possible. One piano was just not enough!

There is one song, however, that is recorded with only one piano: Auld Lang Syne. That is my favorite track. It’s dedicated to my friend Jim Burnidge, who we lost in 2008. I was thinking about him as I recorded it. Thanks for everything, Jim.

Including:

The First Noel – Away in a Manger – Hark! The Herald Angels Sing – O Holy Night – Jolly Old St. Nicholas – Joy to the World – Silent Night – What Child Is This? – Bring a Torch, Jeannette, Isabella – Auld Lang Syne – We Wish You a Merry Christmas

The album is available on iTunes and Amazon, as well as most other digital music retailers.
