It Could Happen To You

I received a really lovely email yesterday from someone that was introduced to Straight Ahead through the movie “Takers”. She said she’d bought both of my albums and wished that there were more. It was a very nice thing to hear.

I thought I’d record a new song for her and send it as a gift. So I came home last night and recorded “It Could Happen To You”, one of my favorite standards. I thought I’d also share it here with you as well.

    Now THIS makes my day! One of my favorite songs, too! I’m so glad you’re getting some much-deserved publicity out of the film; ‘Straight Ahead’ is still one of those desert island disks for me — I don’t leave home without it.
