There’s a bit in here at the end of a cadence that sounds like a Beatles tune. “La la la lala laaaa.” I can’t think of the name of the song.

Update: Andy Moss came over and we turned this song into the Fancy Freeze vs. Super Cream Rap Battle. Click the link to listen.
Here’s a goofy groove I put together today. I’m hoping Andy Moss might be able to run with it and add lyrics and a melody when we hang out next week. Andy and I worked on a techno song previously, One Night Only.

Here is a sketch of a bluegrass waltz I wrote this afternoon. I’ve sent it to my friend Noah, who might put some words to it.
Please excuse the audible metronome sound – my new headphones let the sound out a lot more than my old ones. For that matter, you’ll probably be able to hear the trucks, sirens and car alarms outside my window – and, very likely, the bird next door. It all adds charm.

My Grandmother passed away today. She lived a long, wonderful life and passed away this morning at 97 years old. I was very close to her and I’ll miss her, but I’m sure she’s in a better place now. I wrote this song for her today.

Here is a great song for everyone – intermediate pianists or even ambitious beginners. You can purchase and download the music directly through PayPal ($10), or if you’d prefer, I can mail you (or the pianist on your gift list) a signed copy.
If you need a little help getting it under your fingers, I’d also be happy to give you a mini lesson over the phone or skype with your purchase.
Thank you so much, I’m very grateful for your support.

Do you hear the Leonard Bernstein reference in this one?

This little guy needs some lyrics and a singer – anybody interested? It might be a fun thing to put together. I’m not set on that name or anything – the name is a remnant of some stand-in lyrics I’d used.
