David J. Hahn is a music director and pianist in New York City. He works for theatre productions, auditions, classes and individuals. As a working musician, David has traveled from Taiwan to Tunisia and criss-crossed much of the U.S. and Canada.
David's playing can be heard in the upcoming Sony Pictures/Screen Gems motion picture, Takers, and he frequently contributes as an expert on musician careers to websites like About.com and the Huffington Post. He currently works as a staff music director and accompanist at New York University, where he helps teach musical theatre classes in the CAP21 Studio.
David is also a blogger and the co-founder of the website MusicianWages.com. His articles have been published in the International Musician, the Allegro (NYC) and the Overture (LA).
